Job Description:
- Operate and maintain packaging department equipment, including Bottle washer, Empty Bottle Inspector, Filler, Pasteurizer, Labeler, Case packer and all associated machinery/supplies
- Develop and maintain Stand Operating Procedures for all packaging processes
- Daily monitoring and recording of all the parameters maintained inside the packaging operations to ensure the product quality
- Maintain turbidity, CO2 and 02 levels within product specifications
- Create production planning and schedules so as to ensure that production targets are met. Candidate must ensure that beers are produced to a schedule that maximizes the efficiency of the brewery and its staff.
- Attend daily and weekly tastings to test the quality of the beer being produced and work with laboratory staff to evaluate chemical composition analysis of the beers being created and raw materials being used.
- Ensure the brewery is a safe place to work and enforce the safety standards on the production line. The beer production manager will also perform safety audits and ensure that anyone visiting the brewery does so safely.
- Communicate with brew house and cellar department to develop and maintain best practices for all cellar and packaging procedures
- Assist in managing inventory control of bottles, cartons, crowns, glue, cases and associated materials/supplies
- Startup and shutdown of facility processes
- CIP equipment preparation and operations including the regular cleaning and maintenance of the bottling line machineries
- Provide and receive continual innovation and improvements
- Reports the Daily record of production activities, festival participation and management, handling of labors at packaging facility
Qualification Required:
- Preferably Master degree in ME/EE with 5 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with ME/EE with 8 years of relevant experience from large-scale industries is required.
