Senior Technical Manager

Job Description:
Specific Responsibilities
• In collaboration with the Management Team headed by the CEO, establish basic principles and operating methods of Engineering and Construction Administration Departments.
• Entertain requests of all clients and provide consultative services.
• Act as an efficient and effective interface between CEO and clients in respect to providing construction management services.
• Plan, execute and supervise construction projects independently under the guidance of the CEO
• Guide and job-train site managers and design engineers at site and in the office.
• Guide and job-train site managers and design engineers at site and in the office.
• Communicate and cooperate with the clients, sanitary and electrical engineers including the architects and receive written approval on any alterations before implementation.
• Establish peer review process for ongoing or completed projects by a panel of independent experts.
• Any other related assignments as instructed by the CEO.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Preference will be given to the Master’s degree holders in Civil Engineering.
• The incumbent STM should be a licensed civil engineer from the Nepal Engineering Council.
• At least five years of practical work experience after Bachelor’s Degree in several of the following areas: physical planning, building structure design, electrical design, sanitary design and professional dealing with clients.
• At least five years of practical work experience after Bachelor’s Degree in several of the following areas: physical planning, building structure design, electrical design, sanitary design and professional dealing with clients.
• Excellent analytical, communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in SAP/ETABS/RISA, AUTOCAD, Microsoft Software (specially EXCEL) and IT packages.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, understanding of clientele culture and customs.
• Works effectively under pressure, manages stress well, adapts to rapidly evolving situations.
• Willingness to work extensive hours.
• Willingness to work extensive hours.
• Two- wheel driving license is a must and 4-wheel driving license is preferred.
