Job Description (Roles and Responsibilities) 
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To carry out effective day to day maintenance work, routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, new installation and construction works.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
New Installation Works
  • To carry out installation and test of electrical equipments.
  • To assist from electrical aspect in the installation air con, freezer and other electrical appliances.
  • To carry out wiring, cabling, installation of electrical panels, telephone, fire fighting equipments and detectors.
  • To assist in the installation of new machines, gen-set, lighting and power system.
     
Maintenance/Repairing/Cleaning/Routine Maintenance
  • Carry out the routine inspection, preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of electrical appliances & equipments, air con units, solar panel, water heater,  and generator set.
  • To carry out the routine test and inspection of fire safety equipments as per fire safety code.
  • To carry out the routine inspection, cleaning and preventive. maintenance of lighting system, emergency lights and CCTV.
  • To carry out maintenance and inspection of tools and lifting equipments
  • To follow the FCO HSP’s.
Other Duties
  • Ad hoc tasks delegated by Technical Works Supervisor.
  • To carry out operation and repair works in Weekend as per requirement
  • To follow the inventory policy of estate’s stores.

Essential qualifications and experience 
  • Minimum School Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • CTEVT level 2 certification or equivalent on electrical
  • Minimum 5 years experience in relevant technical works
  • Minimum 15 month electrical training from reputed institution
  • Driving licence for two wheelers
  • Desirable qualifications and experience 
  • Driving licence for four wheelers

For other than British Embassy candidates, The total annual remuneration package for this position is NPR 314,535 which includes Provident Fund contribution.
