Aasaman Nepal (ASN) with the vision of happy and healthy children is currently working in 15 districts of Nepal, irrespective of geographical location. Dedicated to children’s education, health and rights, ASN works in various developmental themes; Health and nutrition, education, child protection, natural resource management, livelihood, and humanitarian response.
Among the various programs of Aasaman Nepal, Sisters’ for Sisters’ education project in partnership with VSO and funded by DFIDis being implemented in Dhading and Parsa districts. Similarly, “Strengthening Local Governance for Inclusive Quality Education” in support from UNICEF in the 5 Terai districts. Thus, this vacancy announcement is applicable for the positions of the above mentioned programs.
Aasaman Nepal is looking for experienced and highly qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following position:
Position: Program Manager – 2 positions (Based in Kathmandu)
The program manager will be responsible for the overall management, implementation, and communication regarding the program.
RESPONSIBILITY
- The project manager is responsible for the project designing, planning, implementation, monitoring reporting, budget management, supporting field level staffs and documentation of the overall project with frequent field visits.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:
- Master’s in Education/Social Science or related subjects with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in education related programs in NGO/INGO.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Analytical reporting, effective communication, and documentation.
