Job Description:
Raj Brewery Pvt. Ltd. having a capacity to produce 200,000 HL of premium German beer with its state-of-the-art equipment from Germany invites application from interested and eligible candidates for the following positions:
Position: Assistant Brewmaster - 1 (Workstation: Nawalparashi, Bhairahawa)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Complete brewing process in a safe and efficient manner. This includes, but is not limited to, milling, mashing, and lautering, wort boiling, cooling and transferring to fermenters. - Maintain the use of standard operating procedures unless otherwise instructed.
- Monitor, pitch and evaluate yeast as needed.
- Work closely with quality assurance manager to ensure our product meets the standards of highest quality.
- Ensure supply of raw materials and other inventory items such as: Bulk Malt, Specialty Malts, Hops, Brewing salts and kettle additives, Safety equipments, chemicals, work with other brewers to maintain barrel program.
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house.
- Communicate regularly and efficiently with our staff.
- Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Brewing Technology and/or Qualification from the related professional organization. Minimum 3 years of experience is required.
Competencies Required
- In-depth knowledge and background in brewing and fermentation process, this includes brewing, hops yeast management and propagation, cellar, filtration and packaging operations. - Ability to demonstrate, develop and produce world-class beer.
- Excellent leadership skills that are demonstrated by examples and foster excellence.
- Must have strong analytical skill and result oriented.
- Ability to handle issues and work under pressure.
- Good Interpersonal skills with pleasant personality and Computer savvy.
- Proficiency in English.
- German language will be given extra preference.
