Job Description:
ORGUT Consulting serves as Management Contractor of the five year DANIDA funded UNNATI programme, operating in the seven hill districts in the Eastern Development Region of Nepal (Dhankuta, Bhojpur, Terhathum, Sankhuwasabha, Ilam, Panchthar, Taplejung). The programme aims to develop selected agricultural commodity value chains (orthodox tea, ginger, cardamom and dairy) using a market-based inclusive growth approach, complemented with district and farm-to-market road construction, access to finance, and an improved agricultural/agribusiness environment. The Management Contractor is responsible for the value chain and the infrastructure development in the above seven districts covered by UNNATI.
ORGUT is now looking for Infrastructure Specialist, to fill vacancies in Infrastructure Development areas in one of the above Districts.
General requirements:
- All candidates should have a minimum of a Masters Degree in an Engineering field related to the function and at least five years of relevant professional Engineering experience.
- Experience of working with local government in donor funded projects, preferably in the Eastern Development Region will be a great advantage.
- Excellent command of the English language is a must for this position. Candidates may be posted in any of the seven districts mentioned above.
