Position Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Kathmandu

Qualification:

Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent, preference will be given to Master’s Degree

Experience:

At least 7 years work experience in accounting/ finance field in NGO and INGO accounting system.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Handle overall accounting of CECI projects.This includes preparing vouchers, requesting funds, checking supporting documents and making payments.

• Prepare financial reports of the projects as required.

• Assistin internal verification of accounting reports of projects.

• Supportin preparation of financial statement during annual external audit.

• Update VAT and TDS status of the organisation in Tax office on timely

• Assist in preparation of project budgets for new proposal/modification

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate must be experienced in working with computers and using computerized accounting systems.
• The candidate must be able to communicate and write in English fluently.
• The position is based in Kathmandu with field visits when required.
