Helen Keller International (HKI), an international NGO working in nutrition and food security, in partnership with the USAID-fundedSustainable Action for Resilience and Food Security (SABAL) Program, invites qualified Nepali national to apply for the below mentioned positions:
Positiona: Finance Officer-KTM
DESCRIPTION
This position holder will be working closely with Country Office Finance Team to run the smooth operations of accounting management of the project.
- To ensure functional, effective & efficient accounting & financial system and timely provision of reports from district and partners.
- Finalize monthly expense reports after making all necessary revisions.
- Review monthly bank reconciliations.
- Assist to finance manager in preparation of annual budget and forecast monthly budget on time.
- Assist to the internal/external auditor during the process of annual audits and follow up the pending financial issues.
REQUIREMENT FOR THE ROLE
- Bachelor degree in accounting or business management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar organizations.
- Familiar with financial & administrative management and internal control system
- Knowledge of USAID rules and regulation is a must.
- Willing to travel remote areas as and when required.
- Skills of QB and FAMAS accounting software will be an added value.
Administration and Finance Officer- Ramechhap
DESCRIPTION
- The Admin and Finance Officer will responsible for overall financial management and day to day administration at district level
- Forecast (liquidation plan) and request cash transfers to ensure adequate supply of funds in the District.
- Visit partner NGO and review their system and train/coach them for the improving their financial management system and explore and apply alternative opportunities for cost effectiveness.
- Review, comment and finalize the partner NGO’s monthly financial report and then forward it to HKI/N Kathmandu office.
- Produce Monthly Financial Reports according; submit a soft copy and hard copy within time frame.
- Manage store, inventory, logistics and procurement at district level
REQUIREMENT FOR THE ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree in management
- A Minimum 3 years of work experience with National/International agencies
- Familiar with FAMAS accounting software will be an added value.
- Direct experience in reporting on grants to partners and donors
- Maintain positive working relationships with district based organization
- Knowledge of USAID rules and regulation will be an added value.
- Willing to travel remote areas as and when required
