Community and Rural Development Society Nepal (CARDSN) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization working in Nuwakot and Rasuwa districts of Nepal since two decades. CARDSN/Build Change Partnership Program for Recovery and Reconstruction Initiative (RRI) is targeted for Earthquake affected people of three VDCs of Nuwakot and Rasuwa.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Executive Director/Chairperson

Job Purpose: To coordinate with Government Counterparts, Donors, Humanitarian Agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Political Parties and Earthquake Survivors to plan and implement project activities in working VDCs.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
• Support in the overall management and implementation of the program.
• Operate day to day program management and administration.
• Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
• Help build positive relations within the team and external parties.
• Keep updated records and create reports or proposals.
• Support growth and program development.
• Ensure implementation of policies and practices.
• Conduct researches and surveys under the project as research leader when needed.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Minimum Bachelors Degree  or Equivalent.
• Candidates from Engineering background are preferred.
• Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position.
• Knowledge of program management and development procedures.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong conceptual, intellectual and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with government procurers and practices.
• Documentation and Report Writing Ability.
• Research and Survey Skills
